I had so much fun at Christina and David’s wedding last night. Everything was beautiful mostly thanks to her mother Carmen who is a crafter like me :) flower arrangements, table cloths, cookies, favors she’s amazing!!! Makes me want to get married all over again. Hmmm…vow renewal lol maybe when we win the lotto!

Recently a friend brought to my attention that i haven’t posted or blogged in a long time, I know i’m so horrible but between being a mom, nanny, wife, crafter, finding time for family, and helping take care of my grandma who has alzheimer’s I’m amazed I find time to sleep. So I apologize for neglecting my blogs but I promise I’m gonna start up again once life starts to simmer down lol. XOXO

I made a cozy for my phone!!!! Found this project on my new addiction craftgawker and really wanted to try it so I used some old ugly fabric I had laying around the house to make “Tester” and it came out pretty good! Now to find some cute fabric to make myself one :) this one I’ll use for J’s iPod since I don’t really care for the fabric. I love crafting!!! 

So my husband is Mexican so his mom has told me how to make a few things, of course they NEVER taste like hers but hey I’m still learning! Last time we visited her she made Sopes I had never had them before and loved them so I asked how to make them they seemed pretty easy. Gonna try to make them myself for lunch hopefully they will at least taste good lol

I had a massive craving for something sweet and with cinnamon, so I whipped up a batch of cinnamon sugar doughnut holes and I am now a happy woman! 

Last night I finally made it to my first Stockton Ports game and I had a lot of fun. The heat sucked but by first pitch our seats were in the shade so the rest of the game was bearable. Our section won free $10 coupons for sport authority, J got to see Wow Wow Wubbzy run across the field and we even got to see the mascot Splash give some girl his number lol! All good times! We really should do it again soon. Hopefully we can. My husband now wants to go all over Cali and visit all the minor league stadiums. Sooner or later it will be done.

Potty training

So I’ve been having such a hard time potty training my son. I’ve tried everything bribes, sitting him on the potty every so often, putting him in underwear and nothing works. He just pees whenever he damn well pleases. Which is fine if he wasn’t almost 4!!! My husband suggested just let him run around naked maybe then he’ll tell us he needs to go. I didn’t think this would work, I figured he’ll just pee everywhere and I’m just glad I have steam cleaner cause I’m gonna need it. Well after hours of running around naked I was right it didn’t work, only thing it did do was allow my son to “play” with himself and I had to constantly tell him to leave his pee pee alone! I’m hoping he catches on soon because I really don’t know what I’m gonna do. :(

Been helping my sister move from her little tiny place to a big 3bd 2ba house and I am exhausted. So much stuff in such a small place lol. I’m happy for them though cause it’s a place they will be in for a very long time and with the bundle in the oven they are gonna need the extra space :) I have to admit I am a little jealous lol. The house is awesome. Wish I was lucky enough to find a house I could afford to rent. Hopefully later in life I’ll too be that lucky. Now off for some family time and actually enjoy the new place.

All things I made for Casey’s baby shower this past weekend. There’s chocolate rubber duckie favors with tags I made myself and the invites. Let’s not forget the cake and cupcakes that I made while I had a 100.7 degree fever. Oh and I made the stand the cake is sitting on too, LOL.

I married my soulmate 3yrs ago today after 8 years together. It’s kind of sad that we can’t really do anything to celebrate because of financial issues but we have each other and that’s all we really need. Babe I love you more than life itself! Here’s to many more years together!!! XOXO 

Tia= Portuguese and Spanish for AUNT!!!

The news is finally out so now I can celebrate and scream it to the world my SISTER is pregnant!!!!! I’m gonna be an Auntie and can’t wait!!! This is great news because I know my sister has been wanting this for a while now and I couldn’t be happier for her and my brother-in-law. They are gonna be great parents and I hope god blesses them with a healthy bundle of joy. I’m not gonna lie I’m hoping for a girl so I can go buy dresses and frilly things but whatever gender I’m gonna spoil that kid rotten. It’s truly the greatest purpose in life to be a mom. <3

Oh and I say x2 because my sister-in-law is also pregnant :) The family is growing!!!!
